GULF COAST RESOURCE COALITION IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION ADVOCATING FOR AND PROTECTING THE ENTIRE GULF COAST REGION
This is the Gulf Coast Resource Coalition presentation made to multiple Mississippi Gulf Coast county governments that sparked them to take official voting action to oppose Louisiana's proposed large-scale Mississippi River Diversion project at Mid-Breton Sound.
Our organization brings together and has access to decades of experience in Gulf Coast businesses and communities, science, and legislation at the federal, state and local levels to aid in accomplishing our mission. We pride ourselves on action for our cause.
The entire Gulf Coast region is a dynamic system of communities, businesses and resources that requires a coordinated effort of advocacy for the benefit of all stakeholders. Without a regional approach, our coast and its communities suffer many unintended consequences.
The highest priorities are advocacy for and protection of the entire Gulf Coast region's communities, resources and economies. Through coordination of efforts and ensuring stakeholders have the information they need, our coast can and will prosper.
Your support and generous contributions enable us to take the actions necessary for the Gulf Coast region's protection. Without your help, a coordinated regional approach would not be possible.
